Cullen Collimore Shirley wins appeal before NH Supreme Court on wrongful arrest claim.

Attorney Brian Cullen of Cullen Collimore Shirley PLLC recently prevailed before the New Hampshire Supreme Court on a claim of wrongful arrest brought against his client by Fitzwilliam residents Robert Ford and Jean Ford. The Fords claimed that their Fourth Amendment rights were violated when the Fitzwilliam police arrested them for disorderly conduct following an investigation into complaints that the Fords were harassing their neighbors. The New Hampshire Supreme Court agreed with the analysis of the Cheshire County Superior Court, which ruled on summary judgment that the Fitzwilliam police acted with probable cause when they placed the Fords under arrest.
